My soul-connector
My visit home was positive and beautiful. My wonderfully comedic 95 year old grandmother turned the corner once I got there - she wasn't able to do anything by herself when I initially got there, but by the time I left, she was bathing herself, eating, walking, making her side-splitting jokes, etc. Its wonderful. She and I are one person, if you understand what I mean, so it was important for me to see her. Of course, the fact that I also got to spend time with my Mum, who lives in a whole big house by herself since my father passed a couple of years ago, was an added bonus! I've been calling everyday since I came back and checking in, and she continues to make progress!
I am very happy we spent that time chatting away and breathing each other's air :)
